Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Dubai. Private transfer and hotel check-in. Evening at the Dubai Fountain and Souk Al Bahar.

Day 2 - Old & New Dubai. The Al Fahidi historic quarter, an abra across the creek, the spice and gold souks, then the Burj Khalifa observation deck at sunset.

Day 3 - Desert Safari. A relaxed morning at the hotel pool, then an afternoon desert safari with dune driving, camel rides, sandboarding and a barbecue dinner under the stars.

Day 4 - Abu Dhabi Day Trip. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Corniche and Louvre Abu Dhabi, returning to Dubai in the evening.

Day 5 - Free Day. Yours to use. We can arrange Aquaventure, the Dubai Aquarium, IMG Worlds or a Palm Jumeirah beach club, or simply leave you alone.

Who this tour is for
Families with children, multi-generational groups and couples wanting a short winter-sun break with substance. Everything is air-conditioned and the walking is minimal, which makes it comfortable for grandparents travelling with grandchildren.
Good to know
Is the desert safari suitable for young children?
Yes - tell us their ages and we brief the driver to keep the dune driving gentle. Families with children under six usually prefer the camp and camel rides without the dune bashing at all.
What should we wear at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque?
Shoulders, knees and ankles covered for everyone; women also cover their hair. Abayas are available free at the entrance and we send a full briefing beforehand.
Can we extend to Oman or the Maldives?
Yes. Muscat is a comfortable add-on by road or a short flight, and Maldives connections from Dubai are frequent.
