Overview
For nearly eight centuries, Muslims, Jews and Christians built one civilization together in southern Iberia, and its architecture is still standing. This nine-day route runs from Madrid through Toledo - the city of three cultures - to the forest of arches inside Córdoba's Mezquita, Seville's Alcazar and Giralda, and Granada's Alhambra, ending on the Mediterranean at Málaga. It is a heritage tour with a genuine argument running through it, guided by specialists in Al-Andalus.

Day 1 - Arrive Madrid. Airport transfer and an evening tapas walk through La Latina.

Day 2 - Madrid & the Prado. Morning city tour and the Prado. Afternoon free.

Day 3 - Toledo → Córdoba. A full morning in Toledo - the cathedral, the Synagogue of El Transito and the Mezquita del Cristo de la Luz - then south to Córdoba.
Overnight: Córdoba -
Day 4 - Córdoba & Medina Azahara. The Mezquita-Catedral, the Jewish quarter and the Roman bridge, then Medina Azahara in the afternoon.

Day 5 - Córdoba → Seville. Transfer to Seville. Afternoon at the Real Alcazar and the Giralda, evening flamenco.

Day 6 - Seville. The cathedral, the Archivo de Indias and Plaza de Espana, with a free afternoon in Triana.

Day 7 - Seville → Granada. Drive east via the olive country of Jaen. Evening walk in the Albaicin for sunset over the Alhambra.

Day 8 - The Alhambra. A full morning at the Alhambra with timed Nasrid Palaces entry, plus the Generalife gardens. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 - Granada → Málaga & Depart. Descend through the Axarquia white villages to Málaga for your departure, or stay on for the coast.
