2^nd Day SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast at the hotel. A local guide will show us the sights of Santiago and its historical centre, sculpted in granite. With its meandering medieval street plan and aging buildings there is the impression of timelessness in Santiago, each stone reflects the history of the city in perfect harmony.  We will walk along the busy streets known as Rúa do Franco and A Raíña and see the pretty marketplace. We will also see how important university life is in the city by visiting the Fonseca Hall of Residence. This magical city boasts a wealth of more secular architectural treasures such as the different squares that surrounds the impressive Cathedral. Internal visit to admire this Romanesque, gothic and baroque architecture.

Afternoon is at leisure to enjoy this wonderful city and wander around Galician food served in one of the city’s lively restaurants and surroundings. Accommodation at the hotel.
